I will be the first to admit that I feel like I dropped the ball when it comes to my weight loss journey. I have great days and next thing you know life happens and I have “bad” day after bad day. Does that means that I give up? NO. Does that means I am going to quit? NO. It simply means that I am going to have to try harder to change my habits.
The good news about this weigh-in is that I didn’t gain any weight and I did lose the 4lbs that I had gained back. We shall just say that this time around I broke even. A new month is approaching and that means I am re-evaluating all of my goals. There are only a couple of months left in 2016 and I really want to bring this year to a close on a positive note (but negative on the scale. HA!)
I have increased my water intake again and doing fitbit challenges with family and friends have gotten me walking more often. The weather cooling down and being less humid also gives me more inspiration to work out – less likely to feel completely miserable after a good workout. I have some cute outfits and shoes as well so I think that will encourage me to go out and show them off.
The hours at my gym changed significantly so I am thinking about taking a weekly class or two somewhere else to get in extra cardio. I also want to start doing Yoga on the beach and am looking for a group of women to do that with. I have been taking a lot of walks on the beach and I think a Yoga session fit in there somewhere would do me good.
My goal is to lose 4-6lbs in September so be sure to check back in 2 weeks to see how I am doing.
