In Her Own Words:”I have been overweight since I was a teenager and after graduating from high school my weight continued to creep up. In adulthood I have had several times where my weight would fluctuate up and down and I hope to get it down – and stay down.
Over the past 5 years or so I have been having a lot of health problems which resulted in several surgeries. The last big surgery I had resulted in me losing 20lbs within 2 weeks. I ended up on leave from work and at home mostly in bed recovering for months. I gained those 20lbs back along with another 20lbs because I wasn’t able to move or stand for long periods of time. This rapid weight gain resulted in me being diagnosed with Diabetes.
When I was younger I was self-conscious about my weight but now I am more concerned about my health and well-being. I am hoping to get down to a healthy weight so that I can feel and look better as well as have more energy – another thing that occurred since my surgery is that I do not have the amount of energy that I used to.
Taking this journey with Kristina means a lot to me and I hope that my story inspires you to make little changes in your life.”
