After my review of Old Navy’s Active Wear clothes, I was determined in finding the right sports bra. Since I got some Old Navy Super Cash from my last order, I wanted to give Old Navy another chance in getting that support I’ve been looking for.
I’m on a super-tight budget this month so I kept this order small. In total I got two sports bras and two pairs of running shorts. The shorts were more of an impulse buy but just like Old Navy‘s compression pants I was pleasantly surprised.
Let’s start with the sports bras. This time, I went with what was described as “Medium Support Racerback” in for plus sizes. I was really hoping to find a sports bra that held down my chest and fit tighter than the other bras I purchased. After reading other people’s reviews about how this bra’s size can run small I ordered 3XL and crossed my fingers (yet again!). Good news-it wasn’t too small that I couldn’t get it on and it felt a bit tighter than the Max Support Sports Bra. Ironic, isn’t it?
Next, we have the pairs of Loose-Fit Printed Running Shorts. I got a pair that matches one of the compression pants I got last time as well as a lighter version of that print. Both have a drawstring waistband that’s always a plus. They also come with a liner and a small pocket on the inside of the shorts. I’m not sure what I would put into the pocket as it’s not wide enough to put a card in. Perhaps I can use it for small change and a tightly folded dollar bills? Both shorts feel very light which will be great on days where I’m not going to be wearing the leggings.
So in conclusion, I like these purchases. Now I feel like I have a better workout wardrobe than using old clothes. Still need to find a pair of functional sneakers but I’m almost there!
