It has been awhile since my last weigh-in. Not that weight loss and health hasn’t been on my mind for awhile. A recent doctor’s visit (regular checkup) reminded me that I should come here and check in – even if I didn’t have anything significant to report.
Since my last weigh-in I lost 2lbs. It could have been more. It should have been more. But I have been going through an extremely stressful time the past couple of months which lead to me not eating the healthiest or working out like I should have.
In the past week however, I have been doing a lot of Fitbit challeneges and made it a goal to get at least 6,000 steps in every day. Do I make it every day? Nope. But I have been much closer than I used to.
I have been adjusting my meals again as well as made a plan on getting more heart-pumping excercise in at least 3 days a week. I actually look forward to this because my schedule with school and a second job is going to be much more restricted and I will have to plan this “me time” in.
Going back to my doctor’s visit – my health (aside from the diabetes) has been much better based on my recent lab work. I have improved on so many things by changing the way I eat and trying to get more steps in everyday. Each day it gets a little better and I hope to report a higher weight loss in my next weigh-in.
